Additionally, Carnival Cruise Line Australia has four ships, offering cruises from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Singapore, with destinations like the South Pacific, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Asia, plus a few standout destinations in Australia.

Throwback Sea Day
Maybe you’ve heard of Throwback Thursday, but nobody throws it back quite like Carnival. Some all-time favourites from sea days of the past were the Captain’s Cocktail party, food-carving demonstrations… and who could forget deck-party mainstays like AquaFrog Racing? On Carnival Journeys voyages, get ready for a taste of what cruising was like in the big-hair-and-leg-warmers days of the 80s. Ladies, like totally pack your shoulder pads and no-collar sweatshirt… and men, roll up your jacket sleeves and get your parachute pants on.
Academy of Fun
A mind forever voyaging brings its bearer infinite returns. What we’re saying is, give your mind a little treat — take it on a Carnival Journeys cruise! Since a relaxing vacation doesn’t have to mean switching off completely, Carnival Journeys includes all-expenses-paid scholarship to the Academy of Fun, an enriching series of onboard courses designed to help expand your horizons. Look beyond the horizon and see stars as one of the ship’s officers walks you through the historical art and science of celestial navigation — how mariners navigated the seas long before radar and GPS. For something more twenty-first century, try a #fun class in social media, or a photography 101 course that’ll teach you how to take photos beyond just pointing and shooting. (These are just a few of the courses we’ve offered in the past, but you never know what we’ll be offering on your Carnival Journeys cruise!)

Cruise on a Carnival ship without its staff of hundreds and… well, you’d be pretty busy! From our experienced officers to our friendly and accommodating staff and crew, they do what they do to make every Carnival cruise the comfy, relaxing, fun vacation that it is.
