Caviar in the Surf*

As part of this standout event, a Zodiac® approaches the beach, seemingly from out of nowhere. The uniformed staff members plunge from the Zodiac into the water and invite guests to wade in and get chilled Champagne and caviar at a surfboard bar. A lavish barbecue lunch is served on the beach, with live music filling the air. Water sports and toys are set up on the beach for guests to use, and there is plenty of time to enjoy them, or just relax and take it all in.

Caviar on the Ice

This event transforms the ship’s deck into a world of frozen artistry, with a bar crafted entirely out of glistening ice. Fine Champagnes are chilled in the bar’s custom-molded holders, and an abundance of rare caviars are available for tasting, on toast or on the traditional blini pancakes. Live music sets the tone for this unique onboard celebration, with spectacular polar seascapes creating the stunning visual backdrop.

Shopping with the Chef

Shop at a bustling Sicilian market, gather spices in Istanbul, or explore the local wines of Tuscany and Provence. In select ports across the globe you'll enjoy an insider's look at unique regional markets with an expert Seabourn chef as your guide. Learn what they look for in fresh local produce, seafood, cured meats, cheeses, herbs, spices and other local specialties to augment and enliven their onboard menus. See how they banter with local vendors. What began as a casual gathering has become one of our most anticipated complimentary shoreside activities.

Marina Day**

On this fun-filled active day, guests can get outside and experience all kinds of complimentary watersports, launching either from the ship’s unique retractable Marina platform or from a sparkling beach. Choose from a wide array of aquatic activities, including kayaks, pedal boats, donut rides, banana boats, paddleboards, waterskiing, and more. You can try them all, pick and choose, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. It’s a truly immersive day unlike any other, anywhere.

Evening at Ephesus

Enjoy the ultimate private cocktail party and concert at the Odeon Theater in the heart of the ancient site of Ephesus. Wine, cocktails, and canapés welcome you upon your arrival at this archaeological wonder. Then, as the sun sets, take your seat for an unforgettable orchestral performance among the famous ruins.

Polar Plunge***

Experience the thrill of leaping into ice-cold water from the side door of our expedition ships, from a Zodiac, and feel the sensation so many people say brings remarkable health benefits. Join your fellow intrepid guests in some pre-plunge liquid courage on the deck, before you’re secured in your harness. Then, enjoy the invigorating jump through sub-zero air into the crystal-cold polar water. After your splashdown, team members help you out of the water and onto the waiting Zodiac. Wrap in toasty towels and a cozy robe and have a warm drink placed in your hand. Afterwards, you can see footage of your adventure in the Discovery Center.

• Every $500USD of eligible onboard and pre-cruise online purchases earns one Club Point (net of returns, and limited to one additional Club Point for each day sailed)

For example, a guest on a seven-day cruise paying a published fare in a Penthouse Suite, spending $1,100 on board and participating in a three-night escorted Seabourn Journey earns:
